We describe Choristoneura ribhoiensis sp. nov. Shashank & Santhosh and Terthreutis subrectangulus sp. nov. Shashank & Santhosh as new species (Lepidoptera: Tortricidae: Tortricinae: Archipini). We also report new country records for three species of Archipini, namely Clepsis laetornata (Wang Li & Wang, 2003), Diplocalyptis ferruginimixta Razowski, 2009, and Diplocalyptis operosa (Meyrick, 1908), which are recorded from India for the first time. We provide descriptions and photographic illustrations of adult habitus, wing venation and genitalia for these five species.

Grapholita molesta (Busck) (Lepidoptera: Tortricidae) is a major pest of many fruit trees. The large-scale artificial propagation technology of the insect is the basis for the field application of the sterile insect technique and biological control products based on host mass reproduction. However, a low-cost diet with easily accessible materials remains lacking.

Sex chromosomes can expand through fusion with autosomes, thereby acquiring unique evolutionary patterns. In butterflies and moths (Lepidoptera), these sex chromosome-autosome (SA) fusions occur relatively frequently, suggesting possible evolutionary advantages. Here, we investigated how SA fusion affects chromosome features and molecular evolution in leafroller moths (Lepidoptera: Tortricidae).
