This study investigates the impact of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) scores on dividend policy, while taking into account the moderating effect of financial sustainability. It examines data from companies listed on the Saudi Exchange, during the period spanning the years from 2013 to 2022. According to the findings of panel regression analysis, there is a strong positive correlation between ESG performance and dividend payments.

This study investigates the impact of sustainable development on the relevance of accounting information and financial activities of companies listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET). The results reveal that earnings per share and book value per share have a positive effect on market value, implying that higher earnings signal strong financial performance, thereby attracting more investor interest. Short-term and long-term debt financing have a negative effect on market value, suggesting that debt financing leads to increased financial risk.

In recent years, data has increasingly become the "new oil" for 21st-century economic development. However, there is still a gap in how the development of big data promotes the improvement of urban carbon unlocking efficiency (UCUE). Utilizing advanced double machine learning (DML) methods, and treating the big data comprehensive pilot zone (BDCPZ) as a quasi-natural experiment, we employ panel data from 282 Chinese cities spanning 2011 to 2022 to study the impact of big data policies on UCUE and its mechanisms.

The relationships between cigarette affordability, consumer income levels and distribution, and tax increases are complex and underexplored. This study investigates different ways of calculating the Relative Income Price (RIP) measure of affordability using Malaysia as a case study. We calculate cigarette affordability in Malaysia between 2009-2019 using government data, and multiple RIP variants.
