Introduction: The rarest form of renal ectopia, the thoracic kidney, has been documented in only about 200 cases worldwide. There are four recognized causes of congenital thoracic renal ectopia: renal ectopia with an intact diaphragm, diaphragmatic eventration, diaphragmatic hernia, and traumatic diaphragmatic rupture. This condition often presents as an incidental finding in asymptomatic patients.

Objective: We aimed to explore the abnormal pathology findings in appendix specimens removed based on intraoperative abnormal appearance during elective surgery for benign gynaecological conditions by a minimally invasive gynaecologist, as well as the associated complication rate.
Materials And Methods: This retrospective cohort study was conducted in a tertiary referral surgical centre for benign gynaecological conditions between the years 2004-2023. It included patients who underwent appendicectomy by a trained minimally invasive gynaecologist based on observations during surgery for benign gynaecological conditions.

Background: Guidelines recommend elective irradiation of the external iliac and upper pelvic lymph nodes (LNs) regardless of clinical stage, but the supporting evidence for this recommendation is limited.
Methods: We conducted a retrospective analysis of 68 consecutive patients with squamous cell carcinoma of the anal canal who underwent volumetric modulated arc therapy chemoradiation, excluding external iliac LNs from elective irradiation. In patients with negative bilateral inguinal LNs, both external iliac regions were omitted, while in those with unilateral positive inguinal LNs, only the ipsilateral external iliac region was included and the contralateral side was omitted.

Study Question: Are there differences in psychosocial and physical wellbeing among women and male partners undergoing modified natural cycle (mNC) frozen embryo transfer (FET) in immediate compared to postponed cycles after ovarian stimulation (OS) and oocyte pick-up (OPU)?
Summary Answer: Significantly more women in the immediate group reported physical symptoms than women in the postponed group whilst fewer were emotionally affected by waiting time, although the latter difference lost statistical significance after adjustment for multiple testing.
What Is Known Already: Infertility and fertility treatment are known to cause psychosocial distress in women and couples longing for a child. The treatment may be long-term and delayed for various reasons, such as the elective postponement of FET after a fresh transfer without pregnancy or an elective freeze-all cycle, possibly further increasing the level of distress.

Purpose: To assess the efficacy of moderately hypofractionated intensity modulated proton therapy (IMPT) targeting the prostate/seminal vesicles and pelvic lymph nodes for high-risk (HR) or unfavorable intermediate-risk (UIR) prostate cancer (PCa).
Materials And Methods: A prospective study (ClinicalTrials.gov: NCT02874014) of moderately hypofractionated IMPT accrued a target sample size of 56 patients with HR or UIR-PCa.
