This experimental anatomic study aimed to investigate the correlations between the mesio-vestibular canal (MB1) and the second mesio-vestibular canal (MB2) of the mesio-vestibular root of the upper sexts using cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) imaging. A total of 24 extracted maxillary first molars were collected and subjected to CBCT imaging. The presence, location, and morphology of MB1 and MB2 canals were evaluated using axial, coronal, and sagittal CBCT sections.

Pain management and endodontics represent two separate but very much interrelated disciplines. Advances in both fields have resulted in significant improvements in the predictable and comfortable delivery of patient care. From the utilization of cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) imaging, the use of biomaterials, and enhanced irrigation in endodontics, to greater understanding of pain physiology and treatment, providers and patients alike are benefiting from rapidly evolving science.

Background: Marginal accuracy is one of the serious factors that play a key role in the overall success of prostheses. It is openly associated with marginal activities of microorganisms, which may develop micro-leakage and other problems. Therefore, this in vitro study was conducted to assess marginal accuracies in copings fabricated with two different alloys used in fixed partial dentures.

There is increased interest in outcome measures that complement the classic goal of endodontics, being the prevention and healing of apical periodontitis. Possible outcome measures can be subdivided into patient-centred outcomes (PCOs), encompassing data collected by nonpatients aiming to assess the effectiveness of an intervention and patient-reported outcomes (PROs), which are reported directly by the patient. PROs can be subsequently classed into PRO measures that ascertain patients' view of their symptoms, their functional status, and their health-related quality of life, and patient-reported experience measures that focus on aspects including the humanity of care, patient satisfaction, patient preference and adherence, personal costs, expectation fulfilment, and decision regrets.
