After injecting dsRNA to interfere with expression, we observed changes in the reproduction-related gene expression and ovary development through RT-qPCR and morphological observation. Simultaneously, the trehalose and glycogen contents were measured following RNAi. The results demonstrate that interference with significantly downregulates key genes in the Hippo pathway and gene expression. In terms of carbohydrate metabolism, the trehalose content decreases significantly while the glycogen content increases markedly after silencing. Additionally, silencing considerably inhibits reproductive-related gene expression, resulting in delayed ovarian development. These findings indicate that regulates reproduction through the Hippo signaling pathway: when impaired, the reproductive capacity function declines. In addition, -mediated energy mobilization is involved in the regulation of egg production. These results indicate that the RNAi of may be a useful control strategy against .
