A 66-year-old woman presented with 9 days of left clavicle pain, with no history of recent trauma. CT images showed a left clavicle fracture with a surrounding soft tissue mass. An 18F-FDG PET/CT scan revealed increased FDG uptake in the tonsils, multiple lymph nodes, and the pathologically fractured clavicle, initially suggesting malignancy.

Background: Surgical treatment of comminuted and multiple facial fractures is challenging, as identifying the bone anatomy and restoring the alignment are complicated. To overcome the difficulties, 3D-printed "jigsaw puzzle" has been innovated to improve the surgical outcome. This study aimed to demonstrate the feasibility of 3D-printed model in facial fracture restoration procedures.

Case: Heterotopic ossification (HO) is a relatively rare but severe clinical finding around the hip joint, characterized by the formation of extraskeletal bone in soft tissue. We present the case of a 66-year-old man with a severe, painful gait disorder caused by extensive neurogenic bilateral HO. In this case, due to the medial HO localization, we performed a staged bilateral, combined HO resection and total hip arthroplasty using the single medial Ludloff approach.
