Objectives: Multiple techniques have been proposed for functional fetal cardiology, including pulsed-wave (PW) and tissue Doppler imaging (TDI), Myocardial Performance Index (MPI), annular plane systolic excursion (TAPSE/MAPSE) and spatiotemporal image correlation (STIC). We aimed to compare these techniques' achievability and reproducibility to determine their clinical utility for each cardiac side.
Methods: Uncomplicated pregnancies from 22 to 39 weeks were recruited and images and volumes stored for offline analysis.

Water contamination by nitro compounds from various industrial processes has significantly contributed to environmental pollution and severely threatened aquatic ecosystems. Inexpensive, efficient, and environmentally benign catalysts are required for the catalytic reduction of such nitro compounds. This study reports the fabrication of various nanocomposites (NCs) of copper oxide nanoparticles (CuO NPs) supported on a kaolin sheet using straightforward and simple one-pot synthesis procedures that control the metal precursor to kaolin ratios.

Background: There is a lack of information about the left ventricle (LV) systolic function changes during pump-assisted beating heart coronary artery bypass graft surgery (PACAB). This study aimed to study the changes in LV systolic function changes during PACAB.
Methods: In this prospective, single-arm, observational study, 70 patients with American Society of Anesthesiologists physical status III or IV of either sex, aged 40-70 years, scheduled to undergo elective PACAB for isolated ischemic heart disease with EF >30% were included.

Objective: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the sensitivity of three arthroscopic techniques for intraoperative assessment of posterolateral rotatory instability (PLRI).
Methods: The study was performed using six fresh frozen cadaveric upper extremities. The three arthroscopic tests were the modified ulnohumeral drive through test, the annular drive through test, and proximal radioulnar joint instrumentation.
