This report reflects on two years of implementation of a youth-led, youth-run online food pantry serving youth ages 12-24 in Baltimore, Maryland. We describe the inception of the pantry and share descriptive statistics and qualitative quotations that demonstrate how the pantry helped overcome common barriers to youth food acquisition.

Introduction: Information disclosure is important in promoting unsafe food recalls and reducing potential food safety risks. However, the governance of unsafe food recall information in China is distorted, leading to cognitive dissonance in Chinese consumers' perceptions of unsafe food recall information. Focusing on consumers' search and cognitive costs, this study suggests that market regulators should proactively and fully disclose unsafe food recall information to satisfy consumers' needs and preferences for recall information, thereby optimizing consumer perceptions and facilitating the improvement of the information governance system for unsafe food recalls.

Introduction: We examined the influence of special healthcare needs, onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, and their interaction on receiving transition services to prepare for future adult care among US adolescents, and whether social determinants of health moderated the relationship of these factors with receiving transition services.
Methods: We analyzed the National Survey of Children's Health (2019, 2020-2021) using adjusted multivariable logistic regression models. We assessed a repeated cross-sectional, nationally representative sample of adolescents aged 12-17 years old.

Background: Meta-analyses show that 43-79% of international travellers develop a travel-related health problems during or after journey. The aim of the present research was to analyse travel-related morbidity in travellers hospitalized at the University Centre of Maritime and Tropical Medicine in Gdynia, Poland.
Material And Methods: This retrospective study was based on the analysis of medical records of 159 Polish patients hospitalized at the Department of Tropical and Parasitic Diseases between January and December 2023.

Mortality rate of the crush victims in the Marmara earthquake of August 1999 was compared with the conclusions arrived after making thermodynamic assessment of the data acquired in the previous earthquakes. Entropic age concept was found very helpful while assessing the data. Mortality rate in the age group of 0-9 years old crush victims was 0 because the basal metabolic rate (BMR) of these children was low.
