Introduction: Lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD) has become one of the leading causes of cancer-related deaths globally, with metastasis representing the most lethal stage of the disease. Despite significant advances in diagnostic and therapeutic strategies for LUAD, the mechanisms enabling cancer cells to breach the blood-brain barrier remain poorly understood. While genomic profiling has shed light on the nature of primary tumors, the genetic drivers and clinical relevance of LUAD metastasis are still largely unexplored.

Introduction: Although stentrievers (SRs) are widely used for mechanical thrombectomy (MT), the impact of device dimensions on optimizing reperfusion outcomes in high clot burden cases is unclear. Our study aimed to investigate the effect of SR size on angiographic and clinical outcomes in patients with acute terminal internal cerebral artery (TICA) occlusion.

Methods: We analyzed ROSSETTI registry data to compare technical and clinical outcomes of TICA occlusion patients treated with MT without rescue therapy, according to SR diameter and length: 6 × 41-50 mm, 6 × 20-40 mm, and <6 × 20-50 mm.

Introduction: The LVIS EVO (MicroVention) is a braided stent designed to assist coil embolisation of intracranial aneurysms. It offers several structural innovations over previous and currently available braided, and laser-cut, stents that are theorised to improve procedural success. This retrospective audit aims to determine the success and complication rates of LVIS EVO-assisted coil embolisation in unruptured saccular aneurysms at a tertiary neurovascular referral centre in Queensland, Australia.

Introduction The role of separation surgery in managing symptomatic spinal metastases has been increasing in recent years, and it represents a crucial part of the definitive management of this condition. Methods We report on a series of seven patients treated at the National Cancer Institute in Mexico using minimally invasive approaches to perform transpedicular corpectomy. The goal was to obtain a margin of tumor-free tissue, enabling the completion of oncological treatment with radiotherapy.
