Academic stress is associated with lower engagement in healthy behaviors, including physical exercise, among middle school students. Based on Self-Determination Theory, this study examines the association between academic stress and physical exercise behavior among middle school students, exploring the mechanisms through the chained mediation of motivation and intention. Scales used in this study include the Academic Stress Scale, Autonomous and Controlled Motivation Scales, and Physical Exercise Intention and Behavior Scales to measure relevant variables.

Moral distress occurs when professionals are constrained from taking what they believe to be ethically appropriate actions or are forced to take actions they believe are ethically inappropriate, challenging their professional identities and representing systems-level issues within organizations. Moral distress has been recognized in a variety of health care-related fields; however, the phenomenon is still comparatively unexplored among clinical research professionals (CRPs). In this qualitative study, we interviewed ten CRPs to unearth root causes of moral distress in this ethically unique profession.

Background: Physicians faced increased workloads during the COVID-19 pandemic, which exposed them to considerable physical and psychological stress. Gaining insight into shapers of job morale of physicians can help healthcare administrators assess the effectiveness of current work conditions and support systems, enabling them to develop policies that improve work environments and prepare healthcare systems for future resurgences of COVID-19 and other future unknown challenges. Therefore, the present study aimed to improve the understanding of physicians' experiences of job morale in Kazakhstan during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Objective: To document veterinary technicians' (VTs') experiences with medical futility and its subsequent impact on moral distress and attrition from the profession.
Methods: A cross-sectional study using a 56-question web-based, confidential and anonymous survey was distributed through the National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America between January 19 and February 15, 2023.
Results: There were 1,944 responses from approximately 8,500 members (22% response rate).
