Introduction The role of the condylar position in the correct functioning of the stomatognathic system has been the center of the study. Using cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT), this study looked at the three-dimensional (3D) position of the condylar bone in patients from Class I, Class II, Division 1, and Division 2. Materials and methods This cross-sectional, retrospective study was conducted using 102 CBCT records, with 34 records allocated to each category of malocclusion classification, such as dentoskeletal Class I, skeletal Class II, and dental Class II, Division 1 and 2.

The role of right ventricular (RV) dysfunction in pulmonary hypertension (PH) has garnered increasing interest in terms of outcomes. This systematic review and meta-analysis evaluated the prognostic utility of three-dimensional echocardiography (3DE) derived right ventricular ejection fraction (RVEF) in PH. A systematic review and meta-analysis were performed using MEDLINE, Embase, and Scopus databases for publications reporting the hazard ratio (HR) of 3DE-derived RVEF in PH patients for the clinical end-points of composite outcome or all-cause mortality.

Two-dimensional halide perovskites are attracting attention due to their structural diversity, improved stability, and enhanced quantum efficiency compared to their three-dimensional counterparts. In particular, Dion-Jacobson (DJ) phase perovskites exhibit superior structural stability compared to Ruddlesden-Popper phase perovskites. The inherent quantum well structure of layered perovskites leads to highly anisotropic charge transport and optical properties.

A Novel and Robust Method for Investigating Fungal Biofilm.

Bio Protoc

, labeled an urgent threat by the CDC, shows significant resilience to treatments and disinfectants via biofilm formation, complicating treatment/disease management. The inconsistencies in biofilm architecture observed across studies hinder the understanding of its role in pathogenesis. Our novel in vitro technique cultivates biofilms on gelatin-coated coverslips, reliably producing multilayer biofilms with extracellular polymeric substances (EPS).

Objectives: To predict and characterize the three-dimensional (3D) structure of protein arginine methyltransferase 2 (PRMT2) using homology modeling, besides, the identification of potent inhibitors for enhanced comprehension of the biological function of this protein arginine methyltransferase (PRMT) family protein in carcinogenesis.

Materials And Methods: An method was employed to predict and characterize the three-dimensional structure. The bulk of PRMTs in the PDB shares just a structurally conserved catalytic core domain.
