The question we addressed in the current study is whether the mere prospect of monetary reward gain affects subjective time perception. To test this question, we collected trial-based confidence reports in a task where participants made categorical decisions about probe durations relative to the reference duration. When there was a potential to gain a monetary reward, the duration was perceived to be longer than in the neutral condition.

This syndrome is characterized by the association between aortic stenosis and recurrent gastrointestinal bleeding episodes, typically linked to angiodysplasias. Effective treatment requires addressing the underlying condition, specifically aortic stenosis, which leads to the structural destruction of coagulation proteins, resulting in the acquired von Willebrand factor disorder and perpetuating the bleeding.

RNA sequencing (RNA-seq) has become a cornerstone of transcriptomics, providing detailed insights into gene expression across diverse biological conditions and sample types. However, RNA-seq data are often confounded by batch effects, systematic non-biological variations that compromise data reliability and obscure true biological differences. To address these challenges, we introduce ComBat-ref, a refined batch effect correction method designed to enhance the statistical power and reliability of differential expression analysis in RNA-seq data.
