This study proposes the integration of artificial intelligence (AI), specifically reinforcement learning and immersive human-computer interaction, to enhance crime scene investigation (CSI) training and assessment in public security colleges and universities. By incorporating these technologies, the aim is to provide a more systematic, scientific, and efficient learning experience for students, while ensuring fair and impartial evaluation. The technical roadmap and implementation strategy for applying AI and immersive interaction in CSI training are outlined, along with an application plan for different stages of the training and assessment process. This integration seeks to standardize and optimize CSI training, improving both intelligence and efficiency while ensuring fairness in evaluations.

People with aphasia show stable Cumulative Semantic Interference (CSI) when tested repeatedly in a web-based paradigm: A perspective for longitudinal assessment.

Retrieving words quickly and correctly is an important language competence. Semantic contexts, such as prior naming of categorically related objects, can induce conceptual priming but also lexical-semantic interference, the latter likely due to enhanced competition during lexical selection. In the continuous naming (CN) paradigm, such semantic interference is evident in a linear increase in naming latency with each additional member of a category out of a seemingly random sequence of pictures being named (cumulative semantic interference/CSI effect).

To optimize the efficacy of analgesia for patients receiving laparoscopic inguinal hernia repair, peri-operative pain neuroscience education (PNE) as a pain-specific cognitive therapy was incorporated into multi-modal analgesia. A randomized controlled trial was conducted to compare conventional analgesia (group CA) and the addition of pain neuroscience education into it (group PNE) in patients receiving laparoscopic inguinal hernia repair. Characteristics of peri-operative pain was evaluated with Douleur Neuropathique 4 questionnaire (DN-4), central sensitization inventory (CSI), pain catastrophizing scale (PCS) post-operatively and pressure pain threshold.

Department of Knee Joint Surgery, Honghui Hospital, Xi'an Jiaotong University, No. 555 E.Youyi Rd, Xi'an, 710061, China.

Background: Patients with knee osteoarthritis (KOA) often experience persistent pain and functional impairment after total knee arthroplasty (TKA), which presents challenges for pain management. Accurate preoperative assessment of pain characteristics is crucial for tailoring individualized treatment plans. The PainDETECT Questionnaire has been widely used to identify neuropathic components in chronic pain and has been validated for its reliability and validity across various cultural contexts.

The chemical looping co-gasification of nitrogen-containing algal biomass and coal could effectively realize the high-value utilization of gasification products, but the mechanism of conversion of nitrogen-containing pollutants is not clear. In this work, the effects of the different ratios of microalgae on the co-gasification process were first explored, and the results showed that the 40 % coal + 60 % microalgae blending had the best synergistic effect, with a comprehensive synergistic index (CSI) of 1.35 as the maximum value.

Actinobacteria are widely used in aerobic composting of straw waste because of their good degradation effect on lignocellulose. However, there are few studies on the degradation effect of on straw. In this study, six laboratory-scale treatments were conducted: corn straw composting with inoculation (CSI), rice straw composting with inoculation (RSI), and wheat straw composting with inoculation (WSI).
