The integration of digital health technologies with innovative business models became a crucial driver in the transformation of healthcare service delivery and management worldwide. As the adoption of electronic health (eHealth) solutions grows, there is increasing scholarly interest in understanding and optimizing these models. This paper reviewed the literature on eHealth business models from 1991 to 2024 through a bibliometric analysis of 1,118 documents published across 711 sources. The analysis primarily focused on journal articles and conference papers, utilizing VOSviewer (Centre for Science and Technology Studies, Leiden University, NLD) and Biblioshiny (Bibliometrix, Naples, ITA) to explore emerging trends, influential authors, and prominent sources. The results revealed a significant rise in research output, especially post-2007, with a peak during the COVID-19 pandemic. Key emerging themes included telemedicine, digital health, and information management, with a strong emphasis on international collaborations, particularly among countries in Europe, North America, and Asia. This study provided valuable insights into the evolution of eHealth business models, highlighting the importance of international and multidisciplinary approaches in this rapidly evolving field.

This paper presented the preparation, characterization, and adsorption properties of Brazil nut shell activated carbon for catechol removal from aqueous solutions. The equilibrium adsorption of catechol molecules on this activated was experimentally quantified at pH 6 and temperatures ranging from 25 to 55 °C, and at 25 °C and pH ranging from 6 to 10. These results were utilized to elucidate the role of surface functionalities through statistical physics calculations.

MicroRNAs (miRNAs) play a significant role in tumor progression, and regulating miRNA expression with small molecules may offer a new approach to cancer therapy. Among them, miRNA-20b has been found to be dysregulated in several cancers, including nonsmall cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Background And Purpose: Body mass index (BMI), as a straightforward measure, is widely used in clinical practice, and its results are linked to HT and patient prognosis. This study aimed to ascertain if sex differences exist in the prognostic significance of BMI at the time of admission to the cardiology unit, and how this impacts the LOHS for patients suffering from hypertension.
Patients And Methods: A retrospective analysis of the medical records of 486 patients admitted urgently with a diagnosis of HT to the Cardiology Department at University Hospital in Wroclaw (Poland) between January 2017 and June 2021 was conducted.
