[Theoretical analysis on the response observation of acupuncture and moxibustion].

The paper introduces the method of "response observation of acupuncture and moxibustion" and its clinical application, focusing on the subjects in the observation of acupuncture and moxibustion in view of the changes of illness and the body responses after acupuncture and moxibustion. The theoretical connotation of "response observation of acupuncture and moxibustion" is summarized. During and after the delivery of acupuncture and moxibustion, through observing the responses after stimulation on the body surface, the illness or the patient's functional state can be detected or judged by the doctors; and the more effective treatment be explored. It is pointed out that the "response observation of acupuncture and moxibustion" is an indispensable part in the entire process of clinical diagnosis and treatment of acupuncture and moxibustion.
