In this work, we report TiCT MXene bonded cationic perylene diimide (PDI) as a redox charge storage host for seawater-based electrolytes. A reversible and stable charge storage capacity of ∼101 mA h g is achieved in 3 M MgCl electrolytes at a current density of 0.25 A g with an extended cycling stability of more than 8000 cycles. The redox charge storage dynamics of PDI in metal-ion electrolytes are mapped through three-dimensional Bode plots.
