The original methodology developed by authors for personalized registration and distribution of workload of pathologists is implemented into a number of departments of pathological-anatomic service of the Irkutsk Oblast, including pathological-anatomic department of the Oblast State Budget Institution "The Irkutsk Municipal Clinical Hospital № 1". In order to evaluate efficiency of new methodology comparative analysis of workload volumes performed by pathologists with calculated standard workload was carried out for two periods i.e before application of new methodology and after its implementation. It is established that in 2017-2019 before implementation of new methodology, discrepancy between workload performed by physicians and its calculated value exceeded 40% in some specialists. The implementation of new methodology resulted in significant, up to 10-fold, decreasing of discrepancy between workload practically performed by physicians and its standard value. As a result, actually this discrepancy on average does not exceed 4% in most specialists. The application of the Student's t-test to compare value of discrepancy between workload performed by pathologists for two compared periods also permitted to establish statistical significance of given differences related to majority of physicians (p<0.05) that serves as justification of efficiency and reasonability of new methodology.

Background: The work experience of seafarers differs significantly from other land-based occupations due to several factors, particularly remoteness and the restricted work environment. This study seeks to examine the impact of burnout and health impairment in the maritime industry, using the Job Demand-Resources theory as a framework.

Methods: To investigate these phenomena, an online questionnaire was sent to 239 Italian seafarers (94.

Background: Dosimetric commissioning and quality assurance (QA) for linear accelerators (LINACs) present a significant challenge for clinical physicists due to the high measurement workload and stringent precision standards. This challenge is exacerbated for radiosurgery LINACs because of increased measurement uncertainty and more demanding setup accuracy for small-field beams. Optimizing physicists' effort during beam measurements while ensuring the quality of the measured data is crucial for clinical efficiency and patient safety.

To deploy Electroencephalogram (EEG) based Mental Workload Recognition (MWR) systems in the real world, it is crucial to develop general models that can be applied across subjects. Previous studies have utilized domain adaptation to mitigate inter-subject discrepancies in EEG data distributions. However, they have focused on reducing global domain discrepancy, while neglecting local workload-categorical domain divergence.

Demographic aging and extended working lives have prompted interest in the physiological changes that occur with age, particularly in the lumbar spine. Age-related declines in muscle quality and intervertebral disc alterations may reduce muscular endurance, strength, and postural stability, potentially increasing the risk of musculoskeletal injuries in older workers. As experienced workers play an important role in addressing labor shortages, understanding the impact of age-related physiological changes on the biomechanical properties of the lumbar spine is key to ensure safe and sustainable employment for aging individuals.

The milk ladder (ML) approach, which is the gradual reintroduction of the milk allergen from the least allergenic forms to the most allergenic forms into the diet of the patients, has been utilized mostly in non-IgE-mediated but in some countries also in IgE-mediated-CMPA due to its possible benefits which include nutrition, quality of life and tolerance induction. Despite increasing interest, so far, there is no guideline on ML; thus, the use of this approach shows discrepancies among healthcare professionals as many factors such as dietary habits, patient history, test results, workload, and facilities of the hospitals, the anxiety of the parents/patients may affect the decision on how, when, where and whom to use ML. Here, we reviewed current data on implementing the ML, suggested a 4-step ML including receipts and amounts, and shared our experience on optimal patient selection, appropriate time and steps for initiating ML, and time intervals between the steps targeting the lowest risk of reaction.
