Frequent detection of terbutaline in wastewater highlights its potential risks to human health associated in the environment. Exposure to terbutaline through contaminated water sources or food chain have adverse effects to human health. This work emphasized on the removal of terbutaline from wastewater using adsorption technology.

MoS nanosheets belong to an emerging family of nanomaterials named bidimensional transition metal dichalcogenides (2D TMDCs). The use of such promising materials, featuring outstanding chemical and physical properties, is expected to increase in several fields of science and technology, with an enhanced risk of environmental dispersion and associated wildlife and human exposures. In this framework, the assessment of MoS nanosheets toxicity is instrumental to safe industrial developments.

The eradication of biofilms remains an unresolved challenge across disciplines. Furthermore, in biomedicine, the sampling of spatially heterogeneous biofilms is crucial for accurate pathogen detection and precise treatment of infection. A wide range of indolizines with allenes proceeded smoothly under mechanochemically induced conditions via a [3+2] annulation process, affording various substituted pyrrolo[2,1,5-]indolizines in good yields. The reaction efficiency was greatly improved by using piezoelectric material as the charge transfer catalyst. The photophysical properties of the resulting pyrrolo[2,1,5-]indolizine were characterized.
