Background: Post dural puncture headache (PDPH) is a major challenging complication and may be a cause of morbidity after spinal anesthesia. Currently there is no definitive management for PDPH, so the search for effective treatment continues.
Objectives: Our aim was to investigate the analgesic effectiveness of oral prednisolone vs oral pregabalin for managing PDPH subsequent to spinal anesthesia for lower limb surgeries.

: Lumbar degenerative disease is a common age-related condition, with epidural steroid injection (ESI) being a widely employed conservative treatment approach. However, the potential effect of ESI on osteoporosis and fracture risk remains unclear. This study investigated the risk of osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures (OVCFs) in patients with lumbar degenerative disease who underwent ESI treatment.

Background: Residual low back and leg pain can occur after percutaneous endoscopic interlaminar discectomy (PEID) and compromise early surgical outcomes. This study aimed to determine the efficacy of combining dexamethasone with vitamin B12 (VB12) via epidural injection in improving the symptoms of low back and leg pain after PEID, and the underlying mechanism of action.
Methods: Patients who underwent PEID for lumbar disc herniation (LDH) were enrolled and randomly assigned to the single surgery (SS) group, where disc removal was performed via PEID alone, or the combined treatment (CT) group, which received epidural injections of dexamethasone and VB12 alongside surgery.
