The SCUBY project developed interventions for scale-up of an Integrated Care Package (ICP) for two common diseases - type 2 diabetes and hypertension-, comprising evidence-based roadmaps and policy dialogues. Purpose: The study purpose was to develop and assess a simulation for registered nurses to apply knowledge, skills, and attitudes in conducting a focused assessment in the clinic setting to prevent community-acquired pressure injuries (CAPrIs) in individuals living with spinal cord injury (SCI).
Methods: Development, psychometric assessment, and pilot of a simulation for a nurse-patient clinic appointment to prevent CAPrIs at home. Evaluations were conducted via focus group.

Adolescent girls and young women ages 15-29 years (AGYW) living in Lesotho experience a disproportionate HIV burden. Using a household-based national survey in Lesotho, we conducted a three-step latent class analysis to identify typologies of AGYW most vulnerable to HIV infection. We first classified AGYW into HIV vulnerability groups based on self-reported sexual behaviors, then identified associations between typology and HIV diagnosis.

Background: Black/African American women are the most at-risk demographic group for developing Alzheimer's disease and related dementias (ADRD). Unfortunately, Black Americans are underrepresented in research, accounting for just 8% of clinical trial participants in the USA. Restrictive study exclusion criteria and medical mistrust are pervasive barriers to research participation in minoritized communities and are often disregarded during the development of a research study.
