Aim: to determin the recurrence rate of benign recto-colonic polyps in a 5-year interval, and compare the development rate of intrapolypoid carcinomatous lesions in polypectomized versus nonpolypectomized subjects.
Material And Method: a group of 77 patients diagnosed with recto-colonic polypoid lesions during the period 2014-2019 underwent colonoscopy at the time of study initiation and then annually during a five-year interval. The recurrence rate of polyps increased annually from 5 to 12.

Introduction: Rectal cancer constitutes, by its frequency and its gravity, a real concern of the public health in the world, it represents the eighth most frequent cancer. Its incidence is increasing in young people and in particular in women, in whom it remains a rare disease known for its poor prognosis.The objective of our work is to highlight the epidemiological characteristics of rectal cancer in patients under 40 years of age, determine its incidence and outline the different therapeutic means.

The authors present a review of 431 children biopsied and studied with the following histochemical and immunohistochemical techniques: 1) acetylcholinesterase activity; 2) alphanaphthylesterase activity; 3) S-100 protein immunohistochemical technique; 4) glyoxylic acid method. Two hundred forty-eight patients of our series presented different forms of dysganglionosis, 12 of them (4.8%) presenting neuronal intestinal dysplasia type B.
