Purpose: This study aimed to evaluate the dental and skeletal stability one year after Miniscrew-Assisted Rapid Palatal Expansion (MARPE) by using 3D image data.
Methods: Patients with transverse maxillary deficiency from the age of 16 onwards were enrolled consecutively in this prospective longitudinal cohort study. The MARPE appliance was digitally and individually designed and fabricated.

Background: Amyloid accumulation is one of the main pathophysiological hallmarks of Alzheimer's disease (AD) and is closely associated with neuronal dysfunction and cognitive decline. Except for amyloid pathology, accumulating evidence has shown vascular dysfunctions, such as reduced cerebral blood flow (CBF), also contribute to AD pathophysiology. However, there remains limited research about the longitudinal changes between amyloid accumulation and CBF.

Quantum error correction (QEC) provides a practical path to fault-tolerant quantum computing through scaling to large qubit numbers, assuming that physical errors are sufficiently uncorrelated in time and space. In superconducting qubit arrays, high-energy impact events can produce correlated errors, violating this key assumption. Following such an event, phonons with energy above the superconducting gap propagate throughout the device substrate, which in turn generate a temporary surge in quasiparticle (QP) density throughout the array.
