Bisphenol AF has gained popularity as a substitute for bisphenol A in industrial applications, leading to its detection in various biological fluids and raising concerns for public health. While the effects of bisphenol A on lipid metabolism are known, the impact of bisphenol AF on different lipid classes remains understudied. This study aimed to address this gap by conducting an untargeted lipidomics analysis in rats to assess the influence of bisphenol AF on lipid homeostasis. The results of the study revealed significant alterations in lipid profiles in plasma with various lipid classes being affected by bisphenol AF exposure. High-dose exposure to bisphenol AF resulted in specific changes within lipid clusters, including a decrease in the fatty acyl lipid cluster, except for 3,6,9,12,15-octadecapentaenoic acid. Additionally, the compound 9-0-acetyl GTb1(d18:1/18:0) within the gangliosides subclass of the sphingolipids and the sterol lipid clusters was also affected. These findings contribute to a better understanding of how bisphenol AF disrupts lipid metabolism and its associated health effects. This study provides valuable insights into the potential risks posed by bisphenol AF. Further research in this area is warranted to explore the mechanisms underlying the bisphenol AF-induced dysregulation of lipid metabolism and its implications for human health.

Gastrodin (GAS) is a potent pharmaceutical compound extracted from the dried roots of a Chinese medicinal herb, Blume. It has been used as a neuroprotective treatment for a range of neurological disorders. Bisphenol A (BPA) has been implicated in the induction of attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)-like symptoms.

Bisphenol A (BPA) is one of the most studied endocrine-disrupting chemicals (EDC), for its large-scale production and disposal, and ubiquitous presence in the environment. It is also known to impart significant phytotoxic effects on almost all aquatic flora including cyanobacteria. Yet, there are limited studies on the responses of symbiotic cyanobacteria i.

Meat is a staple in many cultural diets, and the consumption of processed meats has increased significantly worldwide. The widespread use of sodium nitrate (NaNO) as a preservative and the unintentional leaching of bisphenol A (BPA) from packaging into meats have raised health concerns. This study evaluates the combined toxicity of BPA and NaNO despite their individual safety assessments.

To enhance the adsorption capacity of biochar (BC), herein a novel multifunction modified biochar (SDMBC) was prepared by directly crosslinking of the nanomicelle of sodium dodecyl sulfate/sapindus-saponin (SDS/SAP) composite system onto the BC through a simple, environmental friendly approach. Result showed that the adsorption performance of SDMBC has been greatly improved, compared with BC or using alone SDS and SAP, adsorption ability increased by 48.83%, 29.

Bisphenol AF (BPAF) is a widespread endocrine disruptor in the environment, and the use of BPAF has been strongly associated with the development of several diseases. In this study, we investigated the effects of BPAF on growth, development, oxidative stress and lipid metabolism in zebrafish. We chose the concentrations based on the measured LC at 96 h post-fertilization (96 hpf), and the zebrafish embryos were exposed to three different concentrations (0.
