Reducing fall risk requires older adults (age 65+) to adopt effective prevention strategies. This study has three aims: 1) understand Stage of Change (SOC) for three fall prevention strategies; 2) determine strategies older adults' use; and 3) understand which characteristics relate to readiness to take action. A survey of 1063 older adults assessed fall risk, SOC, and use of fall prevention strategies. Data analysis included descriptive statistics and regression analysis. The most common SOC for older adults by strategy was for overall fall prevention (61%), for medication management (45%), and and for strength/balance (29% each). Believing falls are preventable was most strongly related to being in a stage (e.g., ) for overall fall prevention (Risk Ratio: 1.4, 95% CI: 1.1, 1.7). Health promotion can focus on increasing knowledge of evidence-based fall prevention strategies to encourage older adults to take action.

Introduction: Isolated posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) avulsion fracture is rare in pediatric population. To our knowledge, there is no established guideline to treat this rare injury in children. This case highlights the diagnostic challenges and treatment strategies using screw fixation for such injuries, emphasizing the importance of timely intervention to prevent long-term complications.

Background: The increasing use of ChatGPT in clinical practice and medical education necessitates the evaluation of its reliability, particularly in geriatrics.
Objective: This study aimed to evaluate ChatGPT's trustworthiness in geriatrics through 3 distinct approaches: evaluating ChatGPT's geriatrics attitude, knowledge, and clinical application with 2 vignettes of geriatric syndromes (polypharmacy and falls).
Methods: We used the validated University of California, Los Angeles, geriatrics attitude and knowledge instruments to evaluate ChatGPT's geriatrics attitude and knowledge and compare its performance with that of medical students, residents, and geriatrics fellows from reported results in the literature.

Introduction And Hypothesis: The objective of our study is to investigate the presence of lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) and its correlation with the risk of falling in older women with cognitive frailty.
Methods: The descriptive study was conducted on 102 female older adults, 60 women were classed as cognitively frail and 42 as healthy. Women were classified as having mild cognitive impairment based on the Clinical Dementia Rating Scale and as frail based on the Clinical Frailty Scale.
Background: Fall-related mild traumatic brain injuries (mTBI) are prevalent among older adults and are a predictor of dementia. Delays in diagnoses lead to prolonged symptoms and impairments. Dual-task posture may be more sensitive to detecting impairments compared to single-task posture, but research is limited.

Unlabelled: Introduction-Aim: Validated triage tools such as the Vittel criteria are essential to improve the care of trauma patients. The aim of this study was to evaluate the correlation between the Vittel triage criteria and the Injury Severity Score (ISS) to improve the accuracy of pre-hospital triage.
Methods: We conducted a longitudinal study of all trauma patients transported by EMS over a two-year period (November 2021- November 2023).
