This study explores the effectiveness of various antifungal drugs in treating sporotrichosis caused by Sporothrix schenckii, especially in non-wild-type (non-WT) strains. The drugs tested include enilconazole (ENIL), isavuconazole (ISA), posaconazole (POS), terbinafine (TER), and itraconazole (ITC). The study involved in vitro and in vivo tests on 10 WT isolates and eight ITC non-WT isolates.

Multi-objective design of multi-material truss lattices utilizing graph neural networks.

Sci Rep

Advanced Manufacturing Lab, ETH Zürich, Leonhardstrasse 21, 8092, Zurich, Switzerland.

The rapid advancements in additive manufacturing (AM) across different scales and material classes have enabled the creation of architected materials with highly tailored properties. Beyond geometric flexibility, multi-material AM further expands design possibilities by combining materials with distinct characteristics. While machine learning has recently shown great potential for the fast inverse design of lattice structures, its application has largely been limited to single-material systems.

Breast cancer is one of the most aggressive types of cancer, and its early diagnosis is crucial for reducing mortality rates and ensuring timely treatment. Computer-aided diagnosis systems provide automated mammography image processing, interpretation, and grading. However, since the currently existing methods suffer from such issues as overfitting, lack of adaptability, and dependence on massive annotated datasets, the present work introduces a hybrid approach to enhance breast cancer classification accuracy.

The current work introduces the hybrid ensemble framework for the detection and segmentation of colorectal cancer. This framework will incorporate both supervised classification and unsupervised clustering methods to present more understandable and accurate diagnostic results. The method entails several steps with CNN models: ADa-22 and AD-22, transformer networks, and an SVM classifier, all inbuilt.
