Naming chemical compounds systematically is a complex task governed by a set of rules established by the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC). These rules are universal and widely accepted by chemists worldwide, but their complexity makes it challenging for individuals to consistently apply them accurately. A translation method can be employed to address this challenge.

Background: The subcellular localization of mRNA plays a crucial role in gene expression regulation and various cellular processes. However, existing wet lab techniques like RNA-FISH are usually time-consuming, labor-intensive, and limited to specific tissue types. Researchers have developed several computational methods to predict mRNA subcellular localization to address this.

Accurate and timely genetic material replication is essential for preserving genomic integrity. The replication process begins with chromatin licensing and DNA replication factor 1 (CDT1). It has been demonstrated that dysregulated CDT1 expression causes genomic instability, damages DNA, and may even cause cancer.

This study aimed to investigate the expression, prognostic significance, methylation, and immune invasion levels of secreted frizzled-related proteins (SFRP1-5) in colorectal cancer (CRC). Additionally, the relationship between SFRP1/2 methylation and immune infiltration in CRC was explored. The expression of SFRP1-5 was analyzed using several databases, including GEO, TCGA, TIMER, STRING, and GEPIA.
