This study aimed to compare the microcycle load distribution between teams from different competitive levels. A total of 22 microcycles from one team of each competitive level (first division, 1 DIV, n = 32 players; second division, 2 DIV, n = 23 players; third division, 3 DIV, n = 23 players) were monitored using GPS (10 Hz, Catapult). During the match, a higher number of high accelerations (i.e., > 3 m/s, per min) were found in the 3 DIV team compared to the 1 and 2 DIV teams. On match day (MD) +1&+2, the 1 DIV team covered more total (per min, < 0.001) and high-speed running distance (HSR per min, < 0.001 and = 0.042, respectively) than both the 2 and 3 DIV teams. The 2 DIV team showed lower values in most distance-related variables (total distance covered per min, < 0.001; running distance per min, < 0.001; HSR per min, < 0.001; and sprinting distance per min, < 0.001) for both MD-4 and MD-3 compared to the 1 and 3 DIV teams. In contrast, it showed higher sprinting distance per min (p < 0.001) on MD-2. In general, the 3 DIV team showed higher values in the number of high accelerations (per min, < 0.001) across all sessions. These results suggest that distance-related variables may be a priority when planning microcycles for the 1 DIV team, while accelerations are relevant for the 3 DIV team. A higher emphasis on external load during MD-2 by the 2 DIV team may explain the lower external loads across the microcycle.

Objective: To identify the early predictors of a self-reported persistence of long COVID syndrome (LCS) at 12 months after hospitalisation and to propose the prognostic model of its development.
Design: A combined cross-sectional and prospective observational study.
Setting: A tertiary care hospital.

Objective: Both belimumab and telitacicept are recognised blockers for B lymphocyte activation, both of which have been approved as add-on therapies for SLE in China. The aim of this study is to compare the efficacy of rituximab (RTX) followed by belimumab or telitacicept in a real-world cohort.
Methods: A total of 49 refractory lupus nephritis patients were enrolled from four independent centres, subsequently categorised into two treatment groups: belimumab group (n=35) and telitacicept group (n=14) based on their treatment following RTX.

Introduction: Patients recovering from severe acute exacerbations of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (AECOPD) have a 30-day readmission rate of 20%. This study evaluated the feasibility of conducting a randomised controlled trial to evaluate clinical, patient-reported and physiological effects of home high-flow therapy (HFT) in addition to usual medical therapy, in eucapnic patients recovering from AECOPD to support the design of a phase 3 trial.
Methods: A mixed-methods feasibility randomised controlled trial (quantitative primacy, concurrently embedded qualitative evaluation) (ISRCTN15949009) recruiting consecutive non-obese patients hospitalised with AECOPD not requiring acute non-invasive ventilation.

Background: There is emerging evidence for the role of exercise in optimising function, quality of life (QoL) and reducing hospital length-of-stay if commenced prior to undergoing autologous stem cell transplantation (ASCT). A local pilot study of a prehabilitation and rehabilitation intervention during ASCT for myeloma patients indicated promising results and was adapted to translate into local clinical care. The aim of this report is to describe an overview of a newly implemented physiotherapist-led exercise prehabilitation and rehabilitation service delivered as part of the myeloma ASCT pathway, and present real-world findings related to changes in function and QoL.

Capsular contracture (CC) is a concerning issue for individuals undergoing postmastectomy radiation therapy (PMRT) with implant-based breast reconstruction. This study investigated whether the extent of CC and implant migration differs based on implant placement and the reconstruction stage. Insertion plane and stage of breast implants were investigated, and the presence and severe cases of CC and implant migration were analyzed.
