Purpose: This correlational study aimed to determine the reliability and validity of the Turkish version of the Visual Function Classification System (VFCS) for children with CP.
Method: Two physiotherapists and caregivers ( = 56) applied the VFCS ( = 120) two times at a 15-day interval. Physiotherapists' classifications were compared for interrater reliability. Same physiotherapists and caregivers' classifications' were compared for intrarater reliability. Expanded & Revised Gross Motor Function Classification System (GMFCS E&R), Manual Ability Classification System (MACS), and Communication Function Classification System (CFCS) were used for assessing validity of the culturally adapted VFCS.
Results: The interrater reliability between physiotherapists was excellent (ICC = 0.974, ICC = 0.988), while interrater reliability between the first physiotherapist and caregivers was good (ICC = 0.866, ICC = 0.893). The intrarater reliability was excellent (ICC = 0.971, ICC = 0.996, ICC = 0.984). A correlation was detected between the VFCS and the GMFCS E&R, MACS, and CFCS levels ( = 0.415, < .001, = 0.450, p < .001, = 0.491, < .001).
Conclusion: The findings of this study demonstrate the utility, compatibility and reliability of the Turkish version of the VFCS.
Trial Registration Number: NCT05102955.

Introduction: Self-esteem and vocal perception are central aspects of identity and self-presentation, particularly within marginalized communities where voice and self-concept can be deeply intertwined with social acceptance and cultural dynamics. Among Brazilian gay men, generational differences in these areas may reflect broader social changes, shifts in stigma, and evolving notions of masculinity. This study aims to explore these differences, examining how self-esteem and self-assessed vocal descriptions vary across generations, thereby shedding light on specific needs and areas for potential support within these communities.

Rationale And Objectives: Training Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) requires large datasets with labeled data, which can be very labor-intensive to prepare. Radiology reports contain a lot of potentially useful information for such tasks. However, they are often unstructured and cannot be directly used for training.

Objectives: To explore whether the mean lumbar acceleration is a feasible tool for determining minimum eligibility criteria to compete in cerebral palsy football, differentiating between new sports classes, and to assess the effect of foot contacts on balance evaluation and class distinction.
Design: Cross-sectional study.
Methods: A total of 146 male cerebral palsy footballers classified into FT1 (n=34), FT2 (n=87), and FT3 (n=25), alongside 12 non-impaired athletes as a control group, participated.

Background: Lymph node ratio (LNR), log odds of positive lymph nodes (LODDS), and the number of postoperative lymph node staging (pN) are prognostic indicators of various cancers. However, the prognostic values of these indicators remain unclear in hypopharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (HPSCC). This study's primary objective was to investigate the predictive value of LNR, LODDS, and pN for advanced HPSCC, and the secondary objective was to compare which of the values had the best predictive value for advanced HPSCC.

Background And Study Aims: This study was aimed to validate the correlation of circular RNA HIPK3 (CircHIPK3) expression in serum and tissues with the progression of liver fibrosis (LF) and liver cirrhosis (LC).
Patients And Methods: Serum CircHIPK3 expressions were detected in 120 patients with LF/LC and 120 healthy controls (HCs). CircHIPK3 expression in tissues was detected in 120 fibrotic liver tissues and compared to 57 healthy liver tissues from patients with hepatic hemangioma.
