Background: Primary brainstem hemorrhage (PBSH) is a fatal condition related to hypertension. PBSH definitive treatment remains controversial, mainly when surgical options are discussed.
Objective: To aid decision-making in PBSH scenarios, we aimed to perform a meta-analysis and evaluate the literature on stereotactic aspiration (SA) for PBSH in comparison to conservative management (CM).
Methods: The outcomes assessed were: 30-day mortality, mortality, 90-day good outcome (mRs ≤ 3), good outcome (mRs ≤ 3), good outcome (mRs ≤ 3 or GOS 4-5), 90-day poor outcome (mRs ≥ 4), poor outcome (mRs ≥ 4).
Results: We included 1189 patients from 9 studies. 433 (36,41 %) patients were treated with SA. The risk of 30-Day Mortality (RR 0.57; 95 % CI 0.41-0.81; p=0.002; I²=58 %), Mortality (RR 0.56; 95 % CI 0.41-0.75; p<0.001; I²=54 %), 90-Day Poor Outcome (mRS ≥ 4) (RR 0.83; 95 % CI 0.73-0.93; p=0.001; I²=25 %), Poor Outcome (mRS ≥ 4) (RR 0.83; 95 % CI 0.75-0.93; p=0.001; I²=0 %) and Poor Outcome (mRS ≥ 4 or GOS ≤ 3) (RR 0.82; 95 % CI 0.74-0.91; p<0.001; I²=12 %) were significantly lower in patients receiving SA treatment. Also, the risk of 90-Day Good Outcome (mRS ≤ 3) (RR 1.60; 95 % CI 1.06-2.39; p=0.024; I²=21 %), Good Outcome (mRS ≤ 3) (RR 1.48; 95 % CI 1.13-1.94; p=0.005; I²=0) and Good Outcome (mRS ≤ 3 or GOS 4-5) (RR 1.72; 95 % CI 1.17-2.53; p=0.006; I²=25 %) were significant higher in the SA group.
Conclusion: SA demonstrated favorable outcomes, including reduced mortality rates and improved functional recovery. Further clinical trials are needed to validate these findings.

Objective: To evaluate the 36-month clinical performance of Single Bond Universal Adhesive (SBU; 3M ESPE, Germany) in non-carious cervical lesions (NCCLs) using different modes of adhesion according to the FDI criteria. The primary outcome was the retention loss of the restorations, while the secondary outcomes included marginal staining, marginal adaptation, post-operative sensitivity and tooth vitality, recurrence of caries erosion and abfraction, and tooth integrity, all evaluated according to the FDI criteria.
Materials And Methods: In this study, the SBU Adhesive was applied to 246 NCCLs of 25 patients using different modes of adhesion: Self-etch (SE), selective-enamel-etching (SLE), and etch-and-rinse (ER).

Purpose: To linguistically and cross-culturally translate Hip Disability and Osteoarthritis Outcome Score into Urdu language (HOOS-U), and test its psychometric properties among patients with hip pain.
Materials And Methods: Translation and cross-cultural adaptation of English version of HOOS were carried out following international guidelines. Psychometric testing included reliability (internal consistency and test-retest reliability), validity (content and construct validity) and responsiveness.

Objective: Evaluation of the safety and effectiveness of Relatox, botulinum toxin type A in patients with focal spasticity (FS) of the upper limb as a result of a cerebrovascular accident (CVA) or traumatic brain injury (TBI).
Material And Methods: A multicenter, prospective, single-blinded, randomized, comparative clinical study included 210 patients of both sexes aged 18-75 years after moderate to severe TBI and CVA in seven sites in the Russian Federation. The patients were randomized into two groups.

Absence status epilepticus (ASE) is a type of nonconvulsive status epilepticus, in which varying grade of consciousness impairment lasting more than 15 minutes and are accompanied by constant generalized spike-wave complexes with a frequency of 2.5-4 Hz on the electroencephalogram (EEG). ASE can be observed in various epileptic syndromes, usually detected in children.

Background And Study Aims: Diffuse infiltrative gastric cancer can be difficult to diagnose owing to a lack of endoscopic features in the superficial mucosa. Moreover, a forceps biopsy may not reveal a pathological diagnosis. We aimed to evaluate the diagnostic yield and safety of endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR) and 'open-lid submucosal biopsy', a technique wherein EMR followed by biopsy of the ulcer floor is performed for a pathological diagnosis.
