However, its author has not been identified because the author of this book in and is claimed to be different. The authors dates of birth and death also vary in other relevant reference books. This paper examines and identifies the author of this book based on biographies, historical records, dictionaries and other relevant documents, with a view to contributing to the research of medical history literature.

Methods: This cross-sectional study included T2DM patients with hypertension admitted to the Department of Endocrinology of Yuanjiang People's Hospital in Hunan Province from July 2022 to February 2023.

Standard care was defined as behavioral changes or medications recommended by the American Urological Association.

Ethnopharmacological Relevance: Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) has great potential and advantages in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis (RA). Wutou decoction (WTD) was first recorded as a pill in the TCM classical book Synopsis of Prescriptions of the Golden Chamber written by Zhang Zhongjing in the Eastern Han Dynasty (25-220 CE). It has significant therapeutic effects in delaying and reversing RA while improving patients' clinical symptoms, making it the best example of TCM treatment for RA.
