Oligoguluronate lithium (OGLi) was prepared for the purpose of enhancing the anti-ulcerative colitis (UC) activities of OG, in which lithium (Li) is coupled with the C6-carboxyl of G residue. The therapeutic effects of OGLi on dextran sulfate (DSS)-induced UC mice were investigated, and oligoguluronate sodium (OGNa) and lithium carbonate (LC) were used as contrasts. The effects of OGLi, OGNa and LC on the treatment of UC mice were studied by monitoring body weight change and evaluating colon length, the disease activity index (DAI), histopathological examination and gut microbiota regulation.

The syndrome of inappropriate antidiuretic hormone secretion (SIADH) is a frequent cause of hyponatremia that presents substantial management challenges in clinical settings. Despite a range of treatment options, including fluid restriction, demeclocycline, and vasopressin antagonists, urea remains underutilized, particularly in North America, despite its well-documented efficacy, safety, and cost-effectiveness. Urea corrects hyponatremia by promoting osmotic diuresis without causing significant fluid shifts, making it an ideal treatment for both acute and chronic SIADH.

Objective: Aim: To determine the effect of cell therapy on the intensity of lipid peroxidation processes in the liver, kidneys and lungs of rats of different ages under conditions of experimental cranio-skeletal trauma (CST).
Patients And Methods: Materials and Methods: In the experiments, 129 white male Wistar line rats of different age groups were used: immature rats aged 100-120 days and weighing 90-110 g; mature rats aged 6-8 months and weighing 180-200 g; and old rats aged 19-23 months and weighing 300-320 g. In each age group, CST was modeled under thiopental sodium anesthesia.
We developed a new sodium magnetic resonance fingerprinting ($^\text{23}\text{Na}$ MRF) method for the simultaneous mapping of $\text{T}_\text{1}$, $\text{T}_\text{2,long}^{*}$, $\text{T}_\text{2,short}^{*}$ and sodium density with built-in $\Delta\text{B}_{1}^{+}$ (radiofrequency transmission inhomogeneities) and $\Delta\text{f}_\text{0}$ corrections (frequency offsets). We based our $^\text{23}\text{Na}$ MRF implementation on a 3D FLORET sequence with 23 radiofrequency pulses. To capture the complex spin ${\frac{\text{3}}{\text{2}}}$ dynamics of the $^\text{23}\text{Na}$ nucleus, the fingerprint dictionary was simulated using the irreducible spherical tensor operators formalism.

While earlier post-mortem studies show involvement of the central nervous system in 71% of patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), involvement intravitam is rare. A 72-year-old man with untreated, minimally symptomatic CLL developed subacute-onset encephalopathy and presented with severe hyponatremia and stress-induced cardiomyopathy. His initial head computed tomography scan was unremarkable.
