This single-center retrospective study aimed to analyze the variability of macrolide resistance (MR) in 68 patients with complex pulmonary disease. Among 25 patients treated without macrolides, 13 (52%) reverted to macrolide-susceptible (MS) profiles. Only one (2%) of 43 patients who continued macrolide treatment showed this change. We compared 30 MR isolates with recent specimens. Among them, seven shifted to MS (five attributed to clonally related strains; two resulting from reinfection or polyclonal infection).

KRAS is a proto-oncogene that is found to be mutated in 15% of all metastatic cancers with high prevalence in pancreatic, lung, and colorectal cancers. Additionally, patients harboring KRAS mutations respond poorly to standard cancer therapy. As a result, KRAS is seen as an attractive target for targeted anticancer therapy.

MicroRNAs (miRNAs) and transfer RNA-derived stress-induced RNAs (tiRNAs) have emerged as crucial players in the post-transcriptional regulation of gene expression in various cellular processes, including immunity and host defense against infections. In recent years, increasing evidence has highlighted their complex role in influencing the host response during viral and bacterial infections. miRNAs have been shown to play multiple roles in host-pathogen interaction like TLR activation and altered disease virulence during bacterial infections.

Background: Thoracic aortic endovascular repair (TEVAR) is the most commonly employed method for treating type B aortic dissection (TBAD). One of the primary challenges in TEVAR is the reconstruction of the left subclavian artery (LSA). Various revascularization strategies have been utilized, including branch stent techniques, fenestration techniques, chimney techniques, and hybrid techniques.
