In this study, the antioxidant capacity, the effect on anti-acetylcholinesterase and anti-urease enzyme inhibition, and kidney stone-reducing effects of different extracts from . In addition, the phytochemical content of the bioactive methanol extract was analyzed by HPLC-DAD. The methanol extract showed strong DPPH (IC:0.036 mg/mL) radical scavenging, Cu (II) ion (6.535 mmTroloxE) and Fe (6.476 FeSO) ion reducing antioxidant activity compared to other extracts. The methanol extract contained the highest amount of phenolic (400 mgGAE) and flavonoid (2.519 QuE) compounds. Moreover, the methanol extract had significant anticholinesterase (78.935%), anti-urease (71.014%) and calcium oxalate anti-crystallization (18.22%, 37.427%) activities. The findings show that all extracts exhibited varying amounts of antibacterial activity against . The bioactive methanol extract contained rosmarinic acid (31.35 µg), quercetin (12.99 µg) and chlorogenic acid (3.55 µg). The analyzed compounds are thought to contribute significantly to the pharmacological effect of the methanol extract.

The present experimental study aimed to assess the wound healing and anti-inflammatory effects of green synthesized copper nanoparticles (CuNPs) by the methanol extract of (Boiss), as a plant with various pharmacological effects, such as anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial effects, in traditional and modern medicine. The precipitation approach was used for the green synthesis of CuNPs by mixing the methanol and copper sulfate solution. Cell viability and fibroblast proliferation assay were performed by MTT (3-(4,5-Dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-Diphenyltetrazolium Bromide) assay.

Today, the current chemical agents used for the management of pain cause numerous complications. They are associated with the occurrence of disorders in the digestive system, damage to the kidney, or addiction, which has prompted individuals to seek novel drugs that, apart from removing the side effects, are cost-effective and available. The present survey aimed to assess the antinociceptive and anti-inflammatory activity of Korovin methanolic extract (FEME) in male Swiss mice.

Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) in the environment is a growing concern leading to a focus on PFAS occurrence in biosolids, a byproduct of wastewater treatment processes, often applied to improve soil health. This led to the need for analytical method development for assessing PFAS in biosolids. This study compares three methods for PFAS quantitation, evaluating solvent extraction, clean-up techniques, and final injection solvents.

Introduction: is the gram-negative, facultative intracellular bacterium that causes the disease known as plague. Due to the risk for aerosol transmission, a low infectious dose, and the acute and lethal nature of pneumonic plague, research activities with require Biosafety Level 3 (BSL-3) facilities to provide the appropriate safeguards to minimize accidental exposures and environmental release. However, many experimental assays cannot be performed in BSL-3 due to equipment availability, and thus require removal of samples from the BSL-3 laboratory to be completed.
