Gastric cancer (GC) has become a major challenge in oncology research, primarily due to its detection at advanced stages. In this study, we identified and validated the pharmacological mechanisms involved in treating gastric cancer using an integrated approach combining network pharmacology, molecular docking, and a dynamic approach. Gastric cancer-related genes were obtained from DisGeNET, Genecard, and Malacard databases, while potential targets of bioactive compounds were predicted using SwissTargetPrediction.

Background Orthodontic treatment, while primarily focusing on correcting dental alignment and occlusion, has been increasingly validated for its potential impact on broader aspects of oral health and general well-being: its potential influence on body weight. While the mechanical effects of orthodontic appliances are well documented in the literature, their potential behavioral impact on weight loss remains underexplored. Beyond its primary role in correcting dental alignment, our study has unveiled a lesser-known benefit: its potential to aid in weight reduction among individuals who have already struggled through conventional methods.

Background: Systemic inflammation, metabolic dysregulation, and changes in biochemical markers are closely associated with the progression of lung cancer. This study focuses on evaluating serum parathyroid hormone (PTH), C-reactive protein (CRP), lipid profile parameters, and interleukin-6 (IL-6) in relation to the stages of lung cancer, exploring their potential as biomarkers for assessing disease severity.
Methods: A total of 160 lung cancer patients were selected for a cross-sectional study and equally distributed into four clinical stages (Stages 1-4).

Background: Hypertension is the leading risk factor for cardiovascular disease (CVD). Despite advances in blood pressure management, significant racial and ethnic disparities persist, resulting in higher risks of stroke, heart disease, and mortality among non-White populations. Self-measured blood pressure (SMBP) monitoring, also known as home blood pressure monitoring, has shown promise in improving blood pressure control, especially when combined with feedback from healthcare providers.

Objectives: To explore the role of newly emerging autoantibodies (AAbs) - peptidyl-arginine deiminase 4 (aPAD4), carbamylated proteins (aCarP), and anti-RA33 (aRA33) - alongside the traditionally assessed rheumatoid factor (RF) and anti-citrullinated protein antibodies (ACPA), in predicting the response to abatacept (ABT) and its retention rate in rheumatoid arthritis (RA) patients.
Methods: Data from 121 consecutive ABT-treated RA patients were recorded. The RF and ACPA status were retrospectively assessed by reviewing the patients' clinical records.
