Eosinophilic granulomatosis with polyangiitis (EGPA), previously known as Churg-Strauss syndrome, is a systemic vasculitis characterized by eosinophil-rich, necrotizing granulomatous inflammation primarily affecting the respiratory tract with necrotizing vasculitis of small- to medium-sized arteries. In this case series, we retrospectively evaluated the efficacy and safety of mepolizumab in seven patients diagnosed with EGPA who presented to the Department of Allergy and Clinical Immunology at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. The variables assessed before and after mepolizumab treatment included Birmingham Vasculitis Activity Score (BVAS), prednisolone dose, Asthma Control Test (ACT) score, and blood eosinophil count (BEC). We found a significant reduction in BVAS and prednisolone dosage with clinical improvements in asthma symptoms after treatment with mepolizumab. Our case series, the first from the Middle East on the use of mepolizumab in EGPA, demonstrates that mepolizumab is a safe and effective treatment for patients with EGPA.

Introduction: Antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) trastuzumab-deruxtecan (T-DXd) and sacituzumab-govitecan (SG) provided significant progression-free survival (PFS) and overall survival (OS) improvements over chemotherapy (CT) in pretreated hormone receptor-positive (HR+) and triple-negative (TN)/HER2-low metastatic breast cancer (MBC). However, no direct comparison between the two exists, nor with the more recent datopotamab-deruxtecan (Dato-DXd).
Methods: We conducted a network meta-analysis (NMA) to compare efficacy and safety of T-DXd and SG in CT-pretreated HR+ and TN/HER2-low MBC and assess their benefit over standard CT, exploring also a comparison with Dato-DXd.

Background: Primary pulmonary lymphoepithelioma-like carcinoma (PLELC) is a rare subtype of non-small-cell lung cancer. This study aims to compare the efficacy and safety of perioperative PD-1/PD-L1 inhibitor plus chemotherapy versus chemotherapy alone in stage II-IIIB PLELC patients.
Patients And Methods: This retrospective study included stage II-IIIB PLELC patients.

Although organisations can effectively resist risks and enhance organisational performance by creating a Perception of Psychological Safety (PPS) climate, there is a lack of PPS scales developed under a multidimensional integrated interaction perspective. Based on a review of relevant theories, this paper clearly defines the concept of PPS and proposes a three-dimensional model of PPS, including organisational- level PPS, team- level PPS, and dyadic- level PPS. In this paper, we develop and validate a scale for measuring PPS in the workplace using 12 startups in a relatively economically developed region in the southeastern coastal region of China as the empirical target.

Background: Neuromyelitis Optica Spectrum Disorders (NMOSD) comprise a group of autoimmune-mediated, inflammatory, demyelinating central nervous system diseases caused by aquaporin-4 (AQP4) IgG autoantibodies. Efgartigimod is a human IgG Fc fragment that reduces antibody titers by targeting the neonatal Fc receptor (FcRn). This study documents the efficacy of efgartigimod combined with intravenous methylprednisolone (IVMP) in the acute phase of NMOSD.
