Objective: This study aims to investigate the knowledge of dental interns and post-graduated doctors regarding dental emergencies and their occurrence in the clinic and examine the doctors' ability to intervene in these emergencies.
Methods: Note that, 150 dental interns and 101 post-graduated doctors were surveyed with sixteen questions regarding their knowledge and experience with syncope, orthostatic hypotension, myocardial infarction, angina pectoris, asthma, and anaphylactic shock. Also, post-graduate doctors answered nine additional questions about their emergency response capabilities.
Results: This study found that interns and doctors exhibited similar knowledge about emergencies. Nonetheless, the count of dental interns encountering emergencies is relatively limited. Syncope was the most frequently encountered condition (61.8%). Doctors' increase in years of experience correlated positively with a higher rate of intervention in epilepsy, orthostatic hypotension, and anaphylactic shock (p = 0.001, 0.024, and 0.02, respectively). The ability to check the carotid pulse and to perform intramuscular injections was high in post-graduated doctors (90.09% and 81.2%, respectively).
Discussion: Although interns believe their knowledge about emergencies to be sufficient, their intervention skills may need to be improved due to the low frequency of encounters. After graduation, their inability to intervene adequately during emergencies in the clinic can lead to fatal consequences. The lack of improvement in doctors' knowledge and intervention abilities with experience could be attributed to insufficient training after completing their formal education. To prevent such scenarios, regular training sessions should be provided to interns and doctors, focusing on the emergencies they may encounter.

Public and private medical institutes must adhere to the same standards of quality set by the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PMDC). However, studies have noted varied learning environments. The current study aims to assess opportunities and compare the differences in perceptions between the two sectors.

BACKGROUND A tooth preparation's clinical requirements and geometric configurations should take precedence over material characteristics when advocating for putty reline impression techniques for permanent restorations, since they require a technically sensitive spacer for light body elastomer. We evaluated the linear dimensional accuracy of vinyl polysiloxane-based putty reline impressions with different spacer acquisition techniques in short-span and long-span fixed partial dentures (FPD). MATERIAL AND METHODS A typodont tooth set simulated a 3-unit (short-span) and a 5-unit (long-span) FPD.

Background: The dental industry is associated with significant environmental impacts so there is a growing need for eco-friendly practices in dentistry. This study aimed to assess dental interns' knowledge and practices regarding eco-friendly dentistry before and after the implementation of the environmental educational program.
Methods: An interventional quasi-experimental study (one group pre-test-post-test design) was conducted on 69 intern dentists at the Faculty of Dentistry Alexandria University.

Background And Objectives: The present study aims to assess and compare the accuracy of post-space impressions captured by three different intraoral scanners (IOS) using various canal diameters.
Methods: Three extracted natural maxillary central incisors were selected and prepared for a 1 mm wide margin and a 3 mm ferrule. All steps required for the endodontic procedure were performed, and the post space was prepared using post drills.
