This study investigates the response of nanowire field-effect transistors (NWFETs) to total ionizing dose (TID), single-event transient (SET), and their coupling effects in junctionless (JL), inversion (IM), and junctionless accumulation (AC) modes. The degradation of the three modes under irradiation and the effect of device bias configuration on the electrical properties of NWFETs are analyzed, and the different effects of SET on the three modes are compared. On this basis, the influence of TID on SET current generation and the charge collection mechanism are studied, and the changes in peak current, pulse width, and collected charge of transient current under different TIDs are compared. The results show that JL mode has the worst resistance to TID and SET coupling effects, followed by IM and AC modes.

Introduction: The epidemic of tobacco use poses one of the most severe public health challenges globally, responsible for over 8 million deaths annually according to the World Health Organization (WHO). This study investigates the factors associated with tobacco use among Saudi Arabian youth using the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) framework.

Methods: A cross-sectional study used the 2022 Global Youth Tobacco Survey (GYTS) to assess tobacco use among 5610 Saudi students aged 13-15 years.

Introduction: Cigarette smoking is a significant risk factor for atherosclerotic cardiovascular diseases (ASCVDs). Mildly elevated total serum bilirubin (TSB) levels can exert anti-atherosclerotic effects and may regulate inflammation. We explore the relationship between TSB levels, smoking, and inflammation.

Background: Treatment with non-resorbable antibiotics is effective in diarrhea predominant irritable bowel syndrome (IBS-D). Multimatrix® (MMX®) formulations ensure targeted drug delivery to the mid-distal small bowel and colon - traditionally considered the origin of IBS symptoms.

Aim: To assess the efficacy of Rifamycin SV-MMX for the treatment of IBS-D.

Introduction: There is no consensus on the questions that should be included in questionnaires to properly ascertain exposure to secondhand tobacco smoke (SHS). The objective of this study is to analyze the questions included in studies which have assessed SHS exposure in Spain.

Methods: A scoping review was performed, using PubMed, Embase and Web of Science databases, selecting original articles published in English and Spanish, across the period 2012-2021.
