Artificial intelligence (AI) in healthcare can potentially improve patient outcomes, operational efficiency, and diagnostic accuracy. However, it also raises serious ethical issues, especially in light of possible disparities in the distribution and accessibility of AI-powered healthcare resources. This study investigates how AI might affect health disparities. It bases its proposal for an equitable AI implementation framework on the justice teachings of the Catholic Church. In line with the Church's ethical commitment to social justice, the paper makes an ethical case for a responsible approach to AI in healthcare by examining the concepts of human dignity, the common good, and preferential option for the poor.

Recent advances in molecular science have significantly enlightened our mechanistic understanding of spinocerebellar ataxia type 7. To further close remaining gaps, we performed a multi-omics analysis using SCA7 mice. Entire brain tissue samples were collected from 12-week-old mice, and RNA sequencing, methylation analysis, and proteomic analysis were performed.

Monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) are critical components in the therapeutic landscape, but their dosing strategies often evolve post-approval as new data emerge. This review evaluates post-marketing label changes in dosing information for FDA-approved mAbs from January 2015 to September 2024, with a focus on both initial and extended indications. We systematically analyzed dosing modifications, categorizing them into six predefined groups: Dose increases or decreases, inclusion of new patient populations by body weight or age, shifts from body weight-based dosing to fixed regimens, and adjustments in infusion rates.

Background/purpose: This study aimed to evaluate the initial implementation of competency-based medical education (CBME) through entrustable professional activities (EPAs) in Taiwan dental education, focusing on tooth extraction EPAs across undergraduate year (UGY), postgraduate year (PGY), and oral and maxillofacial surgery-residency (OS-R) levels.
Materials And Methods: Using the Delphi method, an advisory team developed and validated three levels of trial EPAs, which were implemented through the Emyway platform. A structured questionnaire was used to evaluate teachers' and students' experiences and satisfaction with Emyway and the EPAs.
