Dynamic responsive structural colored materials have drawn increased consideration in a wide range of applications, such as colorimetric sensors and high-safety tags. However, the sophisticated interactions among the individual responsive parts restrict the advanced design of multimodal responsive photonic materials. Inspired by stimuli-responsive color change in chameleon skin, a simple and effective photo-crosslinking strategy is proposed to construct hydroxypropyl cellulose (HPC) based hydrogels with multiple responsive structured colors.

Dry powders offer the potential to increase stability and reduce cold-chain requirements associated with the distribution of vaccines and other thermally sensitive products. The Alberta Idealized Nasal Inlet (AINI) is a representative geometry for characterization of nasal products that may prove useful in examining intranasal delivery of powders. Spray-dried trehalose powders were loaded at 10, 20, and 40 mg doses into active single-dose devices.

Background: Localized surface plasmon resonance (LSPR) sensor has drawn continuous attention to application of the detection of antibody, protein, virus, and bacteria. However, natural recognition molecules, such as antibody, which possess some properties, including low thermal stability, complicated operation and high price, uncontrollability of length and size and a tendency to accumulate easily on the surface of chip to reduce the sensitive of method. Furthermore, common blocking agents are not suitable for development of novel biosensors.

The multiple resonance thermally activated delayed fluorescence (MR-TADF) device has drawn great attention due to their outstanding efficiency and color purity. However, the efficiency of solution-processed MR-TADF devices is still far behind their vacuum-deposited counterparts, due to the uncontrollable horizontal emitting dipole orientation for emitters during solution process, resulting in low light out-coupling efficiency. Here, we proposed a new strategy namely electrostatic interaction between a dendritic host with high positive electrostatic potential (ESP) and dendritic emitter with multiple negative ESP sites, which could induce high horizontal dipole ratio (ΘII) up to 83.

Polymers are widely produced and contribute significantly to environmental pollution due to their low recycling rates and persistence in natural environments. Biodegradable polymers, while promising for reducing environmental impact, account for less than 2% of total polymer production. To expand the availability of biodegradable polymers, research has explored structure-biodegradability relationships, yet most studies focus on specific polymers, necessitating further exploration across diverse polymers.
