The discovery and designed synthesis of multifunctional materials is a leading pursuit in materials science. Herein, we report a novel hydro-isocyanurate, NHZn(HCNO), which combines strong second harmonic generation (SHG) and ultra-long room-temperature phosphorescence (RTP). The SHG intensity is the highest within the cyanurate system (13 × KDP), and RTP lifetime extends up to 448 ms, accompanied by a long-lasting afterglow visible to the naked eye for 1.2 s, surpassing most of the current metal-organic complexes. This advancement holds promise for the development of multifunctional optoelectronic devices, particularly leveraging second-harmonic generation (SHG) processes.

The monoprotonated species of 2-aminomalonyl difluoride, namely, 1,3-difluoro-1,3-dioxopropan-2-aminium dihydrogen trifluoride, [CHFNO][HF], was synthesized from sulfur tetrafluoride in anhydrous hydrogen fluoride (aHF) with [NH][CHNO] as the starting material. The solvent was removed and the salt was dissolved in aHF and crystallized. In the solid state, the three-dimensional network is built by medium-strong N-H.

Background: The imposter phenomenon (IP) involves feelings of intellectual fraudulence and phoniness in challenging new roles. IP feelings are associated with low self-esteem and anxiety in nursing students, especially during transition or early stages of nursing training. This research aims to find out the prevalence of IP and its relation with self-esteem and anxiety among nursing undergraduates.

Objective: Adolescents and young adults (AYAs) cancer patients face higher long-term and late-stage risks, so advance care planning (ACP) is an important way for them to participate autonomously in healthcare decision-making. However, in Chinese culture, discussing ACP with AYAs is challengeable due to their role as their family's hope, contributing to insufficient attention to this group in cancer care. This study aimed to explore the perceptions of AYA patients, their families, and healthcare providers about ACP based on the health belief model.

Background: This paper invites discussion on whether pleasure should receive more attention in public health-oriented research on alcohol. While there is a history of sociological and anthropological literature exploring alcohol and pleasure, this is much less common in public health-oriented alcohol research, and associated advocacy.
Argument: We propose three broad reasons why more extensive engagement with issues of pleasure may be important for public health-oriented research.

Background: Patients supported by extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) are at a high risk of brain injury, contributing to significant morbidity and mortality. This study aimed to employ machine learning (ML) techniques to predict brain injury in pediatric patients ECMO and identify key variables for future research.
Methods: Data from pediatric patients undergoing ECMO were collected from the Chinese Society of Extracorporeal Life Support (CSECLS) registry database and local hospitals.
