Background: Vital pulp therapy (VPT) is one of the treatments recommended for vital deep carious permanent molars. However, postoperative pain remains underexplored in children and adolescents who have undergone VPT.
Aim: This study investigated the incidence, intensity, duration, temporal pattern, and analgesic intake of postoperative pain following VPT in children and adolescents.

Introduction: Quiescent stem cells exhibit unique self-renewal and engraftment abilities vital for regenerative therapies, but these diminish during ex vivo culture. This study investigates how substrate stiffness regulates the balance between dental pulp stem cell (DPSC) quiescence, activation, and senescence and explores the role of extracellular matrix stiffness in modulating DPSC fate via the nuclear factor kappa-light-chain-enhancer of activated B cells (NF-κB) pathway.
Methods: Polydimethylsiloxane substrates with varying stiffness in 2D (2 kPa, 50 kPa) and 3D (50 kPa) were fabricated.

Internal root resorption (IRR) is a complex and often asymptomatic dental condition that can severely compromise tooth vitality and function. This case report presents the successful management of a perforated large IRR lesion in a 49-year-old female using an ultraconservative approach involving partial pulpectomy (PP) using calcium-enriched mixture (CEM) cement. The patient, initially presenting with an asymptomatic resorptive lesion in her left first premolar, underwent ultraconservative PP following diagnosis via conventional radiography and cone beam computed tomography.

Objectives: This randomized prospective controlled trial investigated the effectiveness of different strategies of regenerative endodontic therapy on necrotic mature anterior teeth with chronic periapical periodontitis with 18 months follow up.
Methods: A total analyzed 51 adult participant with mature single rooted teeth having necrotic pulp with chronic periapical periodontitis (PAI ≥ 3) were selected. Patients had been randomly categorized into three distinct groups (n = 17 each group).

Median mandibular cyst is defined as an odontogenic cyst in a rare midline location. In spite of this definition, there have been two reports of a peculiar lesion, so-called "ciliated" median mandibular cyst associated with vital teeth, the origin of which cannot be explained in terms of odontogenic epithelium multipotentiality. We describe a thorough profile of an additional example.
