Nitric oxide (NO) was proclaimed the 1992 "molecule of the year" by Culotta in Science magazine because of its importance in neuroscience, physiology and immunology. Inhaled NO has been in clinical use for over 35 years to decrease pulmonary hypertension and improve oxygenation. Over the last 20 years there has been much research to understand the role of nitric oxide on cell surface receptors, mitochondria, and intracellular processes which involve calcium and superoxide radicals.

Background: Pallister-Killian syndrome (PKS) is typically recognized by its features that include developmental delay, seizures, sparse temporal hair, and facial dysmorphisms. PKS is most frequently caused by mosaic supernumerary isochromosome 12p.
Case Presentation: Here, we report a patient with PKS who was subsequently diagnosed with Burkitt lymphoma.

Obesity is differentiated into two groups: metabolically healthy and metabolically unhealthy. In contrast to metabolically healthy counterparts, obese individuals who are metabolically unhealthy display hallmark symptoms of metabolic syndrome (, hypertension, dyslipidemia, hyperglycemia, abdominal obesity).
