Toleration of a semi-allogeneic fetus in the mother's uterus as well as tolerance after allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) appear to share some immunologic concepts. The existence of microchimeric cells, and the original idea of a bidirectional cell trafficking between mother and child during pregnancy have been known for decades. Today, origins and mechanisms of persistence of microchimeric cells are intensively being elucidated.

Purpose: eHealth-facilitated integrated care models (eICMs) have proved effective in improving outcomes for chronically ill patients. However, evidence on cost-effectiveness of eICMs is scarce so far. Allogeneic stem cell transplantation (alloSCT) recipients' post-discharge treatment costs and mortality are greatly influenced by complications.

Department of Hematology, Hainan General Hospital, Haikou, Hainan Province, China. Electronic address:
Background: The 8p11 myeloproliferative syndrome (EMS), a rare disorder characterized by translocations and interchanges at chromosome 8p11, is usually refractory to chemotherapy, and allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo-HSCT) is currently the only promising treatment for long-term remission. Among 14 translocation partners associated with EMS, t(1;8)(q25;p11) are very uncommon, with only four cases previously reported in peer-reviewed journals in English.
Case Presentation: Here we report a 43-year-old man who presented with atypical peripheral T-cell lymphomas.

Background: Graft infections of supra-aortic bypasses are rare, but often life-threatening. Guidelines for treatment of graft infections recommend systemic antibiotics and complete graft removal, followed by in-situ or extra-anatomic revascularisation.
Methods: Based on case report, literature search was performed on Medline, Google Scholar and Web of Science databases, focussing on infected supra-aortic bypass reconstructions.
