Objective: The association between paternal age and adverse pregnancy outcomes (APOs) has not been well studied. We sought to determine whether advanced paternal age (APA) is associated with adverse maternal or neonatal outcomes.
Study Design: Secondary analysis of 8,863 pregnancies from the Nulliparous Pregnancy Outcomes Study Monitoring Mothers-to-Be (nuMoM2b) prospective cohort in which both maternal and paternal age at conception were known.

Under current climate change patterns, rapidly changing environments can impose strong selection on traits. Costly traits that require heavy investment and strongly affect fitness may be particularly vulnerable to such changes. Aim And Background: Tracheostomy is a commonly conducted surgical intervention in intensive care settings, and many complications result from tracheostomy. The use of an evidence-based methodology for tracheostomy care can effectively mitigate the occurrence of complications. This study aimed to assess tracheostomy complications among patients, determine nurses' knowledge and practice of tracheostomy care, and evaluate the effectiveness of a tracheostomy care protocol (TCP) in terms of improving knowledge and practice of tracheostomy care and reducing complications among patients.
