A Gram-stain-negative, short rod-shaped strain, MDT2-1-1, was isolated from cryoconite samples collected from the Midui glacier in Tibet, China. It grew aerobically from 7 to 40 °C, within a pH range of 6.0-10.0, and in NaCl concentration of 0 to 1.0% (w/v). The pairwise 16S rRNA gene sequence similarity, average nucleotide identity and digital DNA-DNA hybridization values between strains MDT2-1-1 and Sabulicella rubraurantiaca SYSU D01096 were 99.4%, 89.7% and 38.9%, respectively. Considering the results from phylogeny, phenotypic and genotypic data, strain MDT2-1-1 (=CGMCC 1.11170 = NBRC 110485) was suggested to represent a novel species of the genus Sabulicella, for which the name Sabulicella glaciei sp. nov. is proposed. Furthermore, based on the phylogenomic analysis, it is recommended that Roseomonas rubea, Roseomonas ponticola and Roseomonas oleicola be reclassified as Neoroseomonas rubea comb. nov., Falsiroseomonas ponticola comb. nov. and Falsiroseomonas oleicola comb. nov., respectively. Considering the illegitimate status of the genera names Pararoseomonas and Pseudoroseomonas, the species within the genera Pararoseomonas and Pseudoroseomonas should be transferred to Muricoccus and Teichococcus, respectively. Therefore, we proposed the following new combinations: Muricoccus aeriglobus comb. nov., Muricoccus aerilatus comb. nov., Muricoccus harenae comb. nov., Muricoccus nepalensis comb. nov., Muricoccus pecuniae comb. nov., Muricoccus radiodurans comb. nov., Muricoccus vinaceus comb. nov., Teichococcus aerofrigidensis comb. nov., Teichococcus aerophilus comb. nov., Teichococcus aestuarii comb. nov., Teichococcus cervicalis comb. nov., Teichococcus coralli comb. nov., Teichococcus deserti comb. nov., Teichococcus globiformis comb. nov., Teichococcus hibiscisoli comb. nov., Teichococcus musae comb. nov., Teichococcus oryzae comb. nov., Teichococcus rhizosphaerae comb. nov., Teichococcus ruber comb. nov., Teichococcus suffuscus comb. nov., Teichococcus vastitatis comb. nov., and Teichococcus wenyumeiae comb. nov.

Introduction: The 2018 Common Rule revision intended to improve informed consent by recommending a concise key information (KI) section, yet provided little guidance about how to describe KI. We developed innovative, visual KI templates with attention to health literacy and visual design principles. We explored end users' attitudes, beliefs, and institutional policies that could affect implementing visual KI pages.

In the present study, the rare true bug (Schaefer & Ashlock, 1970), (Hemiptera, Heteroptera, Pentatomomorpha, Pentatomoidea, Saileriolidae), which is endemic to Vietnam, is redescribed and transferred from the genus China & Slater, 1956 to the genus Hsiao, 1964 based on morphological characteristics. Adults and nymphs of this species congregate in groups of several individuals and suck sap from the abaxial side of the leaves of sp. (Lauraceae).

Uropygi is an order of arachnids commonly known as vinegaroons or whip-scorpions. So far, two genera are known to occur in Brazil: Thelyphonellus Pocock, 1894 and Mastigoproctus Pocock, 1894. We examined the morphology of 182 specimens of Brazilian Mastigoproctus and sequenced 42 specimens for phylogenetic analyses, using mitochondrial and nuclear molecular markers.

A substrate-integrated waveguide (SIW) bandpass filter (BPF) with extraordinary selectivity and an adequate upper stopband for C-band Satellite Communication (SATCOM) applications is proposed in this paper. The design comprises comb-shaped slots engraved on a half-mode SIW (HMSIW) that constitute a multimode resonator (MMR). Its performance is further ameliorated by applying the first and second iterations of the Minkowski fractal curve in the ground plane as a defected ground structure (DGS).

The MEMS scanning micromirror requires angle sensors to provide real-time angle feedback during operation, ensuring a stable and accurate deflection of the micromirror. This paper proposes a method for integrating piezoresistive sensors on the torsion axis of electrostatic MEMS micromirrors to detect the deflection angle. The design uses a multi-layer bonding process to realize a vertical comb-driven structure.
