The possible involvement of mTOR/p70S6K signaling in mediating Fibrillin-1 expression during the transition from acute kidney injury (AKI) to chronic kidney disease (CKD) after cardiac arrest and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CA/CPR). A CA/CPR AKI model was established using male C57BL/6 mice aged 8-12 weeks. The expression of Fibrillin-1 and activation of the mTOR/p70S6K signaling pathway in kidney tissues were assessed at different time points.

Background: This study aims to assess the occurrence of colonoscopy-related adverse events (AEs) in adults aged over 65 years, as there has been a significant increase in the prevalence of colonoscopies among the elderly compared to two decades ago.
Methods: A comprehensive search was conducted on June 3rd, 2024, using the PubMed, Embase, and Cochrane Library databases. Meta-analyses were performed using the generalized linear mixed model, and the results were presented as pooled rates with relevant 95% confidence intervals (CIs).
Background: Coronary heart disease (CHD) and depression frequently co-occur, significantly impacting patient outcomes. However, comprehensive health status assessment tools for this complex population are lacking. This study aimed to develop and validate an explainable machine learning model to evaluate overall health status in patients with comorbid CHD and depression.
