Initiated in 2011 with government funding, the craniofacial surgical robot project was officially launched in Shanghai, developed jointly by the Ninth People's Hospital affiliated with Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine and the Shanghai Jiao Tong University medical-engineering team. Currently, based on multiple rounds of model surgeries, animal experiments, and clinical trials, our team is applying for approval as a Class III medical device from the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA).

Rationale: Synovial sarcoma (SS) is a rare and highly malignant soft tissue sarcoma. When SS occurs in atypical locations, it can present significant diagnostic challenges. We report a case of paraspinal SS initially misdiagnosed as spinal tuberculosis, highlighting the diagnostic difficulties and the importance of considering SS in the differential diagnosis.

This study details two cases of traumatic cataracts with a history of blunt trauma. Both presented with progressive vision loss, mydriasis, and zonular dialysis. The surgical intervention involved complete cataractous lens removal, anterior vitrectomy, iris cerclage with 10-0 prolene sutures, and retropupillary iris-claw lens fixation.

Background: This article analyzes the main coordination needs linked to the diagnosis and treatment of oncological diseases, presenting the various integration tools that our healthcare organization adopted to guarantee continuity of care at the IRCCS IFO (Istituto di Ricovero e Cura a Carattere Scientifico Istituti Fisioterapici Ospitalieri) in Rome. The object of investigation is the disease management team (DMT) organization for the diagnosis and treatment of people suffering from oncological disease and the consequences in terms of improving their management.

Methods: The study focuses, in particular, on the analysis of the different organizational methods chosen for the management of activities related to diagnosis and treatment paths.
