Real-world actions often comprise a series of movements that cannot be entirely planned before initiation. When these actions are executed rapidly, the planning of multiple future movements needs to occur simultaneously with the ongoing action. How the brain solves this task remains unknown. Here, we address this question with a new sequential arm reaching paradigm that manipulates how many future reaches are available for planning while controlling execution of the ongoing reach. We show that participants plan at least two future reaches simultaneously with an ongoing reach. Further, the planning processes of the two future reaches are not independent of one another. Evidence that the planning processes interact is twofold. First, correcting for a visual perturbation of the ongoing reach target is slower when more future reaches are planned. Second, the curvature of the current reach is modified based on the next reach only when their planning processes temporally overlap. These interactions between future planning processes may enable smooth production of sequential actions by linking individual segments of a long sequence at the level of motor planning.

Purpose Of Review: In this article, we describe current and newer TTR stabilizers, TTR silencers which include small interfering RNA agents (siRNA), antisense oligonucleotides (ASO) and CRISPR-Cas9 gene editing, and TTR depleters, which investigates the use of monoclonal antibodies to remove amyloid fibril deposits for patients with advanced disease.
Recent Findings: Once thought to be a rare and fatal condition, increased recognition, improved non-invasive diagnostic tools, and the explosive development of novel therapies, has transformed the landscape of transthyretin amyloid cardiomyopathy (ATTR-CM). Advances in cardiac imaging with respect to echocardiography, cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (CMR), and radionuclide bone scintigraphy has increased the diagnosis of ATTR-CM over the last twenty years.
Aim: The Transorbital and supraorbital minimally invasive approaches have been defined to reach intraorbital structures, adjacent sinuses, skull base, and other intracranial targets in this region. These approaches reduce the possible cosmetic and brain retraction-related morbidities caused by traditional transcranial approaches. Although these pathways are being studied endoscopically, a stereotactic approach has not been defined.

The global meat consumption, which reached 328 million tons in 2021, is expected to increase by about 70% by 2050, and the existing livestock industry, which utilizes limited resources, is having difficulty meeting the demand. Accordingly, cultured meat produced by culturing cells in the laboratory, edible insects consumed after cooking or processing, and plant-based meat processed by extracting proteins from plants have been proposed as sustainable food alternatives.

Background: It is assumed that the tennis serve is performed according to the kinetic chain principle in which a proximal-to-distal sequence in peak angular velocities of subsequent body segments can be observed to reach high end point ball velocities. The aim of the present study was to investigate if the magnitude and (intersegmental) timing of peak angular velocities of body segments in professional tennis players are different between first and second serves and if they are associated with serve performance.
Methods: Eight (two female and six male) professional tennis players performed each 48 tennis serves on a tennis court.
