This paper described a case of talus osteonecrosis in a 13-year-old female with a diagnosis of T-type acute lymphocytic leukemia, who underwent chemotherapy and treatment with glucocorticoids, attended at the Orthopedics and Traumatology Sector of our institution. After approximately six months of treatment, the patient began to complain of sporadic pain in her left ankle with progressive worsening. Bone scintigraphy and magnetic resonance imaging of the ankles showed the presence of avascular osteonecrosis of the bilateral talar body.

Background/objective: Obesity and rapid weight loss are risk factors for developing deep vein thromboses (DVTs). Our aims were to present a patient who developed extensive DVT after relatively rapid and severe weight loss that followed taking tirzepatide and to raise the awareness among health care professionals regarding the risk of DVT that can be associated with significant weight loss due to these agents.

Case Report: We present the case of a 20-year-old young man, with raised body mass index of >35 kg/m, who was initiated on tirzepatide treatment for weight loss, with 12-kg weight lost over 6 weeks.

Background: A nonadjustable state of the programmable shunt valve is a rare phenomenon. This case report aims to explore the cause of pressure adjustment dysfunction in a programmable shunt valve in a middle cranial fossa arachnoid cyst-peritoneal shunt patient and to underscore this dysfunction as an indicator of shunt valve obstruction.

Case Presentation: A child with a ruptured giant arachnoid cyst in the left middle cranial fossa presented with acute intracranial hypertension following head trauma.
