Objectives: Explore humanitarian healthcare professionals' (HCPs) perceptions about implementing children's palliative care and to identify their educational needs and challenges, including learning topics, training methods, and barriers to education.
Methods: Humanitarian HCPs were interviewed about perspectives on children's palliative care and preferences and needs for training. Interviews were transcribed, coded, and arranged into overarching themes.

Hypertension, dyslipidemia, and type 2 diabetes are highly prevalent and poorly controlled cardiometabolic diseases in the Middle East. Therapeutic non-adherence and therapeutic inertia are major contributors to this suboptimal disease control. Regardless of the cardiometabolic disease, evidence-based solutions may be used to improve therapeutic non-adherence and overcome inertia, and thereby help to alleviate the heavy burden of cardiovascular disease in the Middle East.

This narrative review investigates the current implementation and future potential of Peer-Assisted Learning (PAL) in medical education, specifically emphasizing its role in enhancing medical English proficiency. The article analyzes the effectiveness of PAL across various medical education contexts, including primary medical courses, doctor-patient communication, and standardized residency training. The findings indicate that PAL positively impacts student learning outcomes and promotes professional development, highlighting the necessity of its application in medical English instruction.

Aims: In North Karelia, Finland, a team-based service model was implemented in primary healthcare (PHC) during 2020. In this model, a healthcare customer contacts a nurse who initiates the service process immediately, possibly consulting or directing customers to other professionals. The effect of this new service model among patients with type 2 diabetes (T2D) was assessed.
